Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) - This Movie Sucks!

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)
movie Invasion of the Body Snatcher
Rent Invasion of the Body Snatchers on Amazon Video
Written by: Daniel Mainwaring (screenplay, )Jack Finney (Collier's magazine serial), Richard Collins (uncredited) / Directed by: Don Siegel / Starring: Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter, Larry Gates / Rated: --

Plot:
The population of a small town is being replaced by emotionless aliens.

Review:
Somehow flowers from another planet invade Earth. They take over human beings, replacing them with emotionless duplicates. If the flowers have no emotions, why do they want to take over? The desire to conquer is born of emotion. Wouldn't they be content to just grow on the vine?
The pod people must have evolved on a planet. How did they get off and fly to Earth? How do they quickly adapt to Earth and fit in so well? Do they consume memories of the host? That would be a completely different power. What happens to the original person? Is there a dead body landfill somewhere?

This has a lot of questions without answers. I get it's fiction, but even in this world the plot needs to be fully developed. This presents pod people as magical omnipotent people who's only desire is to conquer Earth. Way to set your sights low! This movie completely ignores any hardships the pod people could even remotely face.

This movie sucks!
